In what might be the most “Florida wholesome” story of the year, an 86-year-old woman went missing during her evening walk. Her husband, understandably panicked, called the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office when she didn’t return after more than an hour. Enter Deputy Devon Miller, stage left, who was soon met in the middle of the road by none other than Eeyore—a dog on a mission.

Not Your Average Pooh Story

Now, when most folks hear the name Eeyore, they picture a gloomy gray donkey mumbling about lost tails and rain clouds. But this Eeyore wasn’t sulking—he was saving.
