For more than five decades, ALABAMA has built a legacy rooted in storytelling, tradition, and a deep connection to its fans. Now, that connection takes center stage once again as the legendary group announces its 2026 Fan Appreciation Week, set for June 18–21 in its hometown of Fort Payne.
A Hometown Celebration of Music and Community
The multi-day event is designed to bring fans together for an immersive experience that blends live music, personal storytelling, and community engagement. Held in the place where the band’s journey began, Fan Appreciation Week continues to serve as a meaningful tradition that honors both the group’s roots and the fans who have supported them along the way.
Kicking Off with Talent and Giving Back
Festivities begin Thursday, June 18, with Teddy Gentry’s “Singing with the Stars” Talent Contest at the Fort Payne City Hall Auditorium. The event highlights emerging talent while supporting a local cause, benefiting the DeKalb County Children’s Advocacy Center.
Doors open at 4:00 p.m., with the show starting at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are priced at $15 in advance and $20 at the door, offering an accessible entry point for fans eager to take part in the week’s opening celebration.
Songwriters Take the Spotlight
A centerpiece of the week returns with the June Jam Songwriters Showcase, scheduled for Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20. Hosted by Randy Owen and Teddy Gentry, the showcase offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the creative process behind some of country music’s most recognizable hits.
Each night will feature three award-winning Nashville songwriters performing their own songs and sharing the stories that inspired them. The lineup includes Tony Lane, Tim Nichols, Deric Ruttan, Johnny Clawson, Josh Dorr, and Lalo Guzman, with the possibility of additional artists joining the bill.
Performances begin at 7:00 p.m., with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $100 per night, with reserved seating and limited availability underscoring the intimate nature of the experience. Proceeds from the showcases will benefit the ALABAMA June Jam Foundation.
A Full Day at the Farm
On Saturday, June 20, fans can look forward to one of the week’s most anticipated events: Randy Owen’s “Fandemonium at the Farm,” held at the Tennessee River Music Farm. The event offers a full day of entertainment, with gates opening at 9:00 a.m. and festivities beginning at noon.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and are expected to sell out, reflecting the high demand for this signature gathering that blends music, celebration, and fan interaction in a relaxed outdoor setting.
Honoring a Lasting Legacy
Fan Appreciation Week is more than a series of events—it’s a reflection of a career that has shaped country music for generations. From their early days performing at The Bowery in Myrtle Beach to becoming the most successful band in country music history, ALABAMA’s journey continues to resonate.
With more than 80 million albums sold and 43 No. 1 hits, the group’s influence remains undeniable. Following the passing of co-founder Jeff Cook in 2022, the band continues to perform on a limited basis, honoring his legacy while carrying forward the music that defined an era.
