Trump Derangement Syndrome Strikes Again: Progressives Play Kingmaker While Screaming ‘No Kings’

It is hard to know exactly where to begin.  Progressives have become so consumed by Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) that it is nearly impossible to engage them in a serious conversation.  That would be a discussion where fact, logic, and reason actually count for more than a visceral need to attack President Trump.  For these folks, nothing else counts except loudly protesting every single word and action taken by the 47^th President.

These progressive Democrats are taking to the streets with their No Kings protests, as well as joining that bastion of goodness, Bernie Sanders, on the Fighting Oligarchy tour.  One is tempted to ask these folks if they think they are the only Americans who have a memory or who have conquered the ability to use Uncle Google.

On the matter of kings, it must be acceptable to have a Royal Family.  How else to explain what occurred in the 2024 Presidential campaign?  First, these insiders did everything possible to preclude any serious opposition to President Biden securing the nomination.  Fixing the rules to make it harder for anyone to compete against President Biden.  Pretending he was cognitively capable of not only finishing his term, but also serving four more years.  Show me any American whose IQ is in double digits who now agrees with that idea.

When President Biden threw up on his shoes at the debate on June 27, how did our No Kings community react?  First, we were told it was just a bad night.  Anyone who dared to suggest the President should be taken to a senior citizen home, not run for another term, was labeled a bed wetter.  So, just how did Biden get removed from the ballot?

There appears to be little doubt that President Obama, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer were the leaders working behind the scenes to make it impossible for Biden to continue as the nominee.  Big donors such as George Clooney made known they would no longer keep raising money for Biden.  Never mind that less than a month earlier, the lad had hosted a fundraiser that raised a record $30 million.  We will get to the Oligarchy stuff in just a bit.

After making it impossible for Biden to continue, what happened next?  Why, they rigged the game so there was no contesting who the nominee would be.  With zero competition, Vice President Harris (who had never received a single vote for the office) was coronated as the nominee.  Who does this stuff and then lectures others about making sure the voice of the public is heard?  This is actually how royalty behaves.  

On the matter of Oligarchy, it is a matter of record that Democrats are the party receiving the most money from the richest segment of Americans.  How long has George Soros been bankrolling so many things?  As if to be a parody of themselves, the characters identified above, joined by the Clinton dynasty, were at the equivalent of a royal wedding for one of George’s children on Long Island on the very day of the protests.  Again, give me a break.

When the matter was Ukraine and Russia, Trump was a pawn of the Russians for failing to finance the Ukraine effort.  Remember the outrage over President Trump confronting Ukraine President Zelenskyy?  Now, fast forward to the situation in the Middle East.  After giving Iran plenty of time to engage in real negotiations, the President took action to reduce their threat to become a nuclear power.  This was in our national interest.  It also assisted our strongest ally in the region, Israel.

What is the reaction of Congressional Democrats?  Some have called for another impeachment of President Trump.  The reasoning being that he was in violation of the War Powers Act.  Virtually all Democrats agree he has violated the act by taking military action without Congressional approval.

Here is the problem with their logic.  First, the law itself makes clear that the President can initiate military action without Congressional approval.  The letter law grants the President 60 days to act without Congressional approval, with the possibility to extend it by 30 more days.  Second, taking this sort of action is hardly breaking new ground.  President Obama did so multiple times, including in Libya, where he notified Congress that no authorization was needed despite the 60-day limit.  What is wrong with these people?

Common Sense: TDS has infected the thinking of Progressives to the point that they look ridiculous to those not enjoying their white wine inside the Progressive elitist bubble.  Please just stop.  Go ahead and start engaging in serious discussion.
