Brain scans of nearly 20,000 patients with anxiety disorders showed reduced blood flow in areas tied to memory, emotion, and decision-making. The study suggests negativity bias is linked to depression, poor stress regulation, and even cognitive decline. Experts say the brain can change—but only if we start paying closer attention to how we think.
