Sen. Rick Scott Backs Ashley Perez-Biliskov in Miami-Dade House Race

Ashley Perez-Biliskov’s bid to replace her brother, House Speaker Daniel Perez, in Florida’s House District 116 just got a major boost with an endorsement from U.S. Sen. Rick Scott, who called her a committed leader focused on “conservative solutions to grow jobs and opportunities.” A first-time candidate and speech-language pathologist, Perez-Biliskov has raised nearly $180,000 since January—without a challenger—drawing support from top Florida Republicans, major business groups, and political committees tied to future House Speakers. She says she’s running to bring “America First solutions” to Tallahassee and earn the trust of voters in the Miami-Dade district, which includes Sweetwater, Kendall, Sunset, and Tamiami.
