Missing for 60 Years: Wisconsin Woman Found Alive and Living a New Life!

After more than 60 years, Audrey Backeberg, who vanished from Wisconsin in 1962 at just 20 years old, has been found “alive and well.” Living out of state, Backeberg, now 82, was located through an investigation sparked by a cold case review. Authorities revealed that her disappearance was voluntary and not linked to criminal activity. She had left behind a troubled marriage and went on to live a quiet, fulfilling life, free from regrets. Her case was solved thanks to a breakthrough using her sister’s Ancestry.com account.
