Media Blackout? Networks Go Silent as New Russiagate Evidence Emerges

After years of breathless coverage pushing the Trump-Russia collusion narrative—spanning more than 2,200 minutes on ABC, CBS, and NBC evening newscasts alone—major networks are now silent in the face of newly declassified documents that challenge the foundation of that story. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democrat now in the Trump administration, released evidence suggesting intelligence was manipulated under the Obama administration to frame Donald Trump as compromised by Russia. Yet, legacy media outlets that once fanned the flames of Russiagate have offered little more than a shrug. Critics argue the glaring disparity between media coverage then and now exposes a deep-rooted double standard—one that elevates narratives convenient to the left while dismissing revelations that don’t fit the script.
