Martin Carbaugh’s Hospital Price Crackdown: Non-Profits Told to Shape Up or Pay Up

Indiana Gov. Mike Braun has signed a new law aimed at holding the state’s largest non-profit hospitals financially accountable. Under the newly passed legislation, these systems—including Parkview Health and IU Health—must lower their prices to the state average by 2029 or risk losing their non-profit status.
