A growing number of Gen Z workers are questioning whether college was worth it. A new ResumeGenius survey reveals that 1 in 4 Gen Zers regret going to college or wish they had chosen a more lucrative field like tech or health care. Only a third say they’re satisfied with their educational choices. As tuition costs soar past $38,000 a year and job prospects remain uncertain, younger Americans are rethinking the conventional wisdom that a college degree guarantees career success. Many feel misled, saddled with debt, and underemployed—prompting a generational shift in how we view higher education.
