Faith on the Rise: A Reversal in America’s Religious Decline

After years of decline, church attendance in the U.S. is showing signs of growth. A new survey finds 52% of Protestant churches report increased worship attendance over the past four years, while only 15% have seen a decline.

Bible sales are rising, especially among younger Americans, and the share of Christians has stabilized at 62% after hitting a record low of 60%. Dave Welch of the Texas Pastor Council attributes the trend to a renewed search for meaning, noting that churches emphasizing biblical teachings are seeing the strongest growth. Whether this marks a lasting shift remains to be seen, but the numbers suggest faith in America may be regaining ground.
