Diddy Trial Nears Verdict: Jury Deliberates in Federal Sex Crimes Case

The criminal trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs has entered its final chapter as a Manhattan jury resumes deliberations in the sweeping federal case against the hip-hop mogul. Combs, 55, faces serious charges including racketeering, sex trafficking, and transporting individuals for prostitution—allegations that stem from months of testimony and over 30 witnesses. Jurors began deliberations June 30 and have already flagged concerns about one member’s ability to follow legal instructions, raising questions about possible disruption. As the jury weighs Combs’ fate, the music industry heavyweight remains behind bars at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, having been denied bail since his arrest in September 2024. A verdict has not yet been reached.
