Alexandra Macedo Appointed Deputy Republican Leader in California Assembly

Assemblywoman Alexandra M. Macedo of Tulare has been appointed Deputy Republican Leader in the California Assembly. Representing District 33, which includes Porterville, Macedo will serve alongside Republican Leader Heath Flora to advance her caucus’s priorities. Flora praised Macedo’s leadership, describing her as energetic, strategic, and committed to serving Californians. In accepting the role, Macedo said she looks forward to working with her colleagues to promote fiscal responsibility, freedom, and accountable government while ensuring community voices are heard in Sacramento.
