Racing World Mourns Kyle Busch After Sudden Death

The racing world is mourning the loss of Kyle Busch following news of his sudden death at age 41.

Busch reportedly died Thursday after being hospitalized for breathing complications following a session in the Chevrolet racing simulator, according to reports from the motorsports community.

“That was one of the first moments that I got around professional cars,” Kirkwood said. “He turned me on to motor racing.”

He won 234 NASCAR national series races — more than any driver in NASCAR history — and captured two Cup Series championships during his career.

NASCAR driver Carson Hocevar recalled being Busch’s teammate at Spire Motorsports and said Busch always treated the relationship professionally, regardless of racing rivalries.
