The Portland Pickles are stepping up to the plate against Disney in a high-stakes trademark battle. The quirky Oregon-based baseball team is suing the entertainment giant over alleged infringement tied to Disney+’s animated series Win or Lose, which features a team called “The Pickles.” Claiming consumer confusion and unauthorized use of their brand identity, the Pickles call it a “classic case of David vs. Goliath” and are seeking damages, profit forfeiture, and a halt to Disney’s use of the disputed imagery.
