Voters Want Clarity, Not Hype, on “Big Beautiful Bill”

As lawmakers head home for July 4, new research from the Winston Group shows voters are still forming opinions on the “Big Beautiful Bill.” A third remain undecided, with independents especially unsure.
The most convincing message? If Congress doesn’t act, taxes will go up next year — a belief shared by 62%. Over-the-top claims, like it being the “largest tax hike in history,” fall flat.
Bottom line: voters want facts, not hype.
