TSA’s 3.4-ounce liquid limit may soon be a thing of the past. At the Hill Nation Summit, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem hinted that the next major shift in airport security could target the long-standing restriction on carry-on liquids. This comes just over a week after the TSA ended its “shoes off” policy and continues a broader effort to streamline the travel experience. While no specific timeline was given, Noem says she’s questioning “everything TSA does” with an eye toward balancing safety and convenience. Stay tuned as the agency considers modernizing this post-9/11 protocol.
