A Texas church renowned for its LGBTQ activism hosted a controversial drag show where a performer made violent “jokes” about Trump supporters and Republican politicians, including advocating for violence against them. The event, held at Cathedral of Hope in Dallas, drew attention after the performer, known as “Brock Bottom,” joked about killing Trump supporters and physically confronting Governor Greg Abbott. The show, part of the church’s ongoing “Celebrating the Art of Drag” series, aimed to support the LGBTQ+ community but sparked outrage due to its incendiary rhetoric.
