Rasmussen Poll: Voters Say Trump Far More Accessible to Media Than Biden

A new Rasmussen Reports survey finds that most voters believe Donald Trump is far more accessible to the media than Joe Biden was during his presidency. According to the poll, 52% of likely voters say Trump is more available to reporters’ questions, compared to just 25% who think he is less accessible, and 16% who see little difference. Nearly half (49%) give Trump a good or excellent rating for his openness with the press, while only 28% say he is doing a poor job. The poll highlights a sharp partisan divide, with 77% of Republicans rating Trump positively on media accessibility, compared to 31% of Democrats and 41% of independents. The survey of 1,190 likely voters was conducted August 24–26, 2025, with a margin of error of ±3 percentage points.
