New Documentary Suggests Second Shooter in Trump Assassination Attempt

A new documentary is shaking up the official narrative of last year’s assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. Who Shot Trump?, by filmmaker J.D. Wilcox, claims to offer forensic proof of a second shooter during the July 13, 2024, rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Using 3-D site modeling and trajectory analysis, Wilcox says one bullet’s path is inconsistent with the known position of gunman Thomas Crooks. The film drops this weekend, timed with the one-year anniversary of the attack. Meanwhile, Rep. Mike Kelly is renewing calls for a deeper investigation, saying his committee was blocked from getting answers. Wilcox alleges the FBI has been aware of the second shooter theory since August 2024.
