AI Use Linked to Rising Workplace Loneliness, Especially Among Gen Z

A new report from design firm MOO suggests that artificial intelligence may be fueling loneliness in the workplace. According to their survey, 84% of U.S. employees encouraged to use AI report feeling isolated — a number even higher among Gen Z (89%) and Millennials (82%). Experts warn that while AI boosts efficiency, thriving organizations must still prioritize personal connection, collaboration, and culture to maintain a healthy and innovative workplace.
