Michael Echols

Michael Echols is a Bastrop native, businessman, and Louisiana House Representative for District 14, covering Ouachita Parish. Elected in 2019, he serves on multiple committees, including the Republican Executive Committee, Health and Welfare, Labor and Industrial Relations, and Civil Law. Echols has an extensive background in leadership and public service: Director of Business Development for Affinity Health Group and Vantage Health Plan Former Monroe City Councilman (2016-2020) and Past Council Chairman Graduate of ULM with degrees in Accounting and an MBA Chief Operating Officer for a financial services firm
