Week 1: Where Is Your Energy Going?
Understanding the Source of Your Stress
Before we can reduce stress, we have to understand where it comes from. Many of us move through our days on autopilot saying yes too quickly, multitasking constantly, and ending the day feeling drained without knowing why.
Stress isn’t always about doing too much, it’s often about doing too much of what doesn’t align.
Awareness Over Perfection
This week is about awareness, not perfection. Begin noticing what gives you energy and what takes it away. Pay attention to how you feel after meetings, conversations, scrolling, or even certain foods. Awareness creates the foundation for every meaningful change.
When you start to recognize patterns, you gain the power to shift them.
The Power of the Pause
What you may discover is that it’s not just your schedule; that’s overwhelming it’s the lack of pause within it. Even small moments of reflection can reveal habits and patterns that have been running in the background for far too long. Awareness allows you to interrupt those patterns before they lead to burnout.
Clarity Creates Change
Give yourself permission to observe without judgment. This isn’t about labeling your choices as good or bad, it’s about understanding them. When you remove the pressure to immediately fix everything, you create space for clarity, and clarity is what leads to lasting, sustainable change.
Action Step:
At the end of each day, write down:
• 1 thing that energized you
• 1 thing that drained you
Do this for 5 days and look for patterns.
