Fort Worth’s Cutting Edge Tops Global Rankings as No. 1 Haunted House

A legendary Fort Worth attraction has just been crowned the scariest haunted house in the world. Cutting Edge Haunted House, located on East Lancaster Avenue, topped HauntWorld’s 2025 list of the 13 best haunted houses thanks to its size, production value, and immersive terror. Built inside a century-old meatpacking plant, the multi-level experience has grown over 35 years into a world-renowned Halloween destination, complete with a cast trained at “Boo University.” With tickets ranging from $29.99 to $59.99 and dates running through Nov. 1, thrill-seekers will need to plan early — spots are limited, and fear is guaranteed. Other haunted attractions across Fort Worth, including Hangman’s House of Horrors, Moxley Manor, and Stockyards Shadows ghost tours, also promise frights this Halloween season, but none hold the title of world’s scariest quite like Cutting Edge.
