John Berry Celebrates 30 Years of Hit Song “I Think About It All The Time” with New Tour, Album Re-Releases, and More

GRAMMY® and EMMY-winning country artist John Berry is celebrating a major milestone: the 30th anniversary of his beloved Top 5 hit, “I Think About It All The Time.” Written by the legendary Don Schlitz and Bill Livsey, the song helped solidify Berry’s place in ‘90s country and remains a fan favorite three decades later.
“What a fun, infectious song,” Berry shared. “Uptempo songs are pretty hard for me to find, but I knew from the minute I heard it that it was for me. I’ve always loved Don Schlitz’s songwriting, and it was an honor to record this one.”
The anniversary comes with a flurry of activity for the acclaimed singer-songwriter. Berry recently announced the first dates for his 29th Annual ‘Christmas With John Berry’ Tour, which kicks off November 28 in Sugar Hill, Georgia, and features 14 shows so far—each one promising a mix of holiday magic and musical nostalgia. Longtime fans can look forward to classics like “Little Drummer Boy,” “Let It Snow,” and Berry’s signature rendition of “O Holy Night.”
But the festivities don’t stop there. Berry has also re-released five fan-favorite albums with StarVista Music: Thomas Road, Christmas, Hits, I Give My Heart, and What I Love The Most. Each record offers a different window into Berry’s storied career. From spiritual ballads to country chart-toppers, the re-releases are now available for streaming, introducing new listeners to timeless tracks like “Kiss Me In The Car,” “Time In A Bottle,” and “She Don’t Need Me.”
With more than 25 albums and two dozen charting singles under his belt—including six Top 5 hits—Berry continues to be a vital force in country music. His career has spanned everything from a posthumous duet with Patsy Cline to a television series, Songs & Stories with John Berry, and most recently, an Emmy win for his performance in the televised George Jones tribute concert Still Playin’ Possum.
Berry’s resilience is as much a part of his story as his music. After undergoing brain surgery in the ‘90s and successfully battling throat cancer in 2019, he’s back on stage and stronger than ever, using his voice to inspire, uplift, and connect.
